Bexley Box #1
The first Bexley Box was delivered to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department. This was the station Bexley spent hours at on the night of February 16th after witnessing her father’s murder.
The officers did their best to comfort her until her mother arrived, but had limited supplies. It was this experience that prompted Kirsten Bridegan to start the Bexley Box project to help police departments be better equipped to comfort children in stressful and traumatic situations. We’re so grateful for all the donations and love poured into this box by the community.
